AJAX Tutorial

AJAX stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. It is a JavaScript technique for updating parts of a web page without reloading the whole page.

Audience

This tutorial has been prepared for the beginning to intermediate JavaScript developers to help them understand the concept of AJAX, and help them use AJAX technology to interact with the server side and dynamically update parts of a web page without reloading the whole page.

Prerequisites

You need to have good understanding of HTML and JavaScript before you can read and understand this tutorial. You do not need to have prior knowledge of XML (despite of the AJAX name). However, it helps if you do.
